Can Stanchion Be Accused For NBA Paul George's Injury?

NBA Paul George in action

Injuries are bad especially on a sport you taking on as a profession. That is real awful to think about but my main man be experiencing right now. But the sport is a game , and injuries are bound to happen anytime and anytime but does that mean the dude that inflicts the damaged shouldn't be blamed ? Well, let see what the game of basketball has to offer

When Indiana Pacers team president Larry Bird crafted his response to the awful Paul George injury Friday night, he got it right at the end of the third paragraph." accused

This is an extremely unfortunate injury that occurred on a highly-visible stage, but could also have occurred anytime, anywhere," Bird said in the statement that was released Saturday morning.Still, that doesn't mean the reasons behind George's broken leg shouldn't be examined. And make no mistake, the discussion about basket stanchions and where they belong will continue.

If George's foot had just a little more room to land, this injury might not have happened. He soared through the air in pursuit of James Harden's shot, covering all that ground in the air with the sort of ease that should serve as a reminder. These NBA athletes, amazing and ultra-athletic as they are, need ample room to safely operate. The flying, full-speed foot was stopped short by the stanchion. The bones were broken. George's 2014-15 season, more than likely, is lost. Not to mention the Pacers'.

I wish Paul a quick recovery back into the game of basketball. Might take some time but his fans won't give up on praying for him to return to the game. Sometimes, it takes few time before a broken bone can get fixed !
